This event is fast becoming one of Dublin's most exciting phenomena. Enacted in celebration of a traditional respect for the fool, it consists of a procession through the city, led by "The Abbot of Unreason" and followed up the rear by a raggle taggle conglomerate of colorful idiots. Space Craft's contribution to this positive idiocy in 1998 was The Ship of Fools (H.M.S. Oblivion) which was dragged through the capital by an antique Unimog (Thanks Toby) and captained by our very own "Dead Diana". In 1999, we concentrated more on the execution of "The King of Unrule". His guillotining was carried out with lovable macabre amidst the cheering rabble. |
